Wow, what else do we know about GRR’s Buddy?  Well, this boy may be 8 years old, but that doesn’t mean he’s short on energy.  In fact, Buddy loves to swim, retrieve tennis balls, train and play!  His tennis ball is never far behind.  Buddy is described as active, outgoing, and high energy.  It takes energy to look as good as he does, right?  But that doesn’t mean that Buddy acts like a wild man – he’ll sleep well through the night, and doesn’t give a hoot about thunderstorms.

Buddy is a real people pleaser.  He’s described as happy, silly, but calm around children.  He loves to watch TV whenever he hears animal sounds – dogs, horses, and sheep all get his undivided viewing attention.

Of course, no man is perfect.  Buddy has gotten overly excited and played a little too rough with other dogs in the past.  He had a few other naughty habits too, like pulling on the leash or jumping when excited.  He’s been working with his foster parents and trainer though, and is already showing a lot of improvement.  Buddy seems to be a quick learner, so he’s got the looks and brain going for him.  For now, Buddy would be best as a bachelor (single pet) inside the home.

Ideal home:

Buddy still needs some help with his training, so an experienced dog owner willing to continue his training would make an ideal candidate for Buddy.  Buddy also needs a home with no other pets.  Buddy needs someone who is willing to work with him and exercise him daily.  Most importantly though, Buddy needs someone to love him and laugh at his antics.
