Personality: Donovan is a good natured Golden. He is small and calm and doesn’t jump on people at all. He’s a bit shy at first but he warms up pretty quickly and then his sweet personality really shines through. If you want a dog that is great while riding in the car, Donovan is the dog for you! Donovan came to us a bit beaten up but he remains in good spirits and is as wonderful as can be. Donovan is very calm and a bit timid but who could blame him after what he has gone through? So far Donovan hasn’t had any accidents in the house though he currently hates being in a crate. So far he hasn’t been exposed to kids or cats so we’re not sure how he will react when he meets them. He has been around other dogs and isn’t reactive to them and he doesn’t bark. He was also great while at the vet which is really saying something. I mean who likes going to the vet?

Ideal home: Donovan would do well in a loving home with people who have time to devote to giving him lots of pets and maybe some treats. Hopefully some treats.
